Neck: Measure from the withers at the base of the neck (A) to the top of the breast bone (B). Be sure to measure the dog, not fur. Measure one side only, not all the way around.

Length: For the Yukon and X-Back sledding harness, measure from the top of the breast bone (B) between the front legs and, following the rib cage, come out to dog's side and up to the base of the tail (C).

For the Icelandic Weight Pull and Sierra Drafting harness, measure from the top of the breastbone (B) between the front legs and following the rib cage come out to the dog's side and straight back to the back of the rear leg (D).

Chest: For the Sierra Drafting harness, please measure around your dog's chest at its deepest point.

Weight: Don't guess, please weigh your dog.

The following charts are guidelines to measuring. If your measurements do not fall within the following guidelines, first check your measurements. If you still find them to be different than those listed below, your dog probably requires a custom harness. We are happy to make a custom harness but there is an additional charge of $10.00 per harness. Custom harnesses are not returnable
