Carabiners
| Standard Straightgate | HE01 | $8.95 |
| Locking Screwgate | HE02 | $10.95 |
These high test cold forged aluminum carabiners are perfect for attaching your gangline to the sled bridle. They are strong, lightweight, functional and never rust or freeze up. Your gangline can be quickly snapped into place or easily removed from the sled at the end of a run. Carabiners are also useful for attaching gangline sections to each other, allowing for quick adjustments in the number of dogs you run. Standard carabiners are 1.8 oz and locking carabiners are 2.0 oz.
Shock Absorbers
This device is added between the sled and the gangline. It absorbs the jarring
motion of the sled and gives you a smooth take-off. It also protects your dogs
from injury in case of a sudden stop. Our shock absorber is made of
heavyweight shock cord which is attached to a polyethylene safety line (3/8").
| Single Loop Shock Absorber - for a 1-2 dog team | GE16 | $12.00 |
| Double Loop Shock Absorber - for a 3-6 dog team | GE17 | $16.00 |
| Triple Loop Shock Abosrber - for larger teams (½" safety line) | GE22 | $21.00 |
Impact Absorber GE20 $26.00
This shock absorber is primarily for use with large teams or with cable
gangline, since cable has no stretch. Although it is useful during a normal
run, it is especially important for preventing dog injuries when the sled is
stopped suddenly by a collision, etc. It is made from an aircraft shock ring,
cable safety line, and PVC sleeve. To order shock ring only,
GE20WO $20.50
Quick Release Line GE18 $15.50
For anchoring your sled or rig while hooking up your team, this line is all
set up and ready to use. Attach to the rear of the gangline or the sled
bridle (not the sled) and wrap around a stationary object (tree, post, truck
bumper). Then, when you are ready to go, just slide the quick release and
you are on your way. Unlike some designs, our line is all one piece so there
are no parts to lose or leave behind. The line is 15' long, made of 3/8"
polyethylene rope and has two attachment loops to allow variable size
capacity.
Colors: Red/Black, Red/Blue or Black
Quick Release Line With Cable Loop Handle GE19 $19.50
The same design as our regular quick release line except that a coated
cable loop handle has been added to the quick release mechanism. This
makes it easier to operate the quick release, especially with gloves or
mittens on. We highly recommend this option.
Colors: Red/Black, Red/Blue or Black
Our quick release lines can be made with our heavier ½" polyethylene rope. Color: Black GE21 $23.50

Finally, a safe way to enjoy biking with your dog. Unlike other methods
of attaching your dog to a bicycle, the Springer's unique design provides a
very stable ride and allows you to keep both hands on the handlebar at all
times. The Springer attaches to the seat frame of your bike and the low
mounted coil spring absorbs and reduces the dog's sudden jerks, making it
almost impossible for you to be pulled off balance. The Springer keeps your
dog gently but firmly in place at your side, protected from traffic, pedals
and wheels. The Springer comes with a harness for attaching your dog to the
coil but can also be used with our tracking/walking harness
(page 3) for a more comfortable fit (should not be
used with a sledding harness). The Springer is equipped with a safety
release which breaks free if your dog should run on the wrong side of an
object. The Springer coil can be removed from your bicycle in seconds when
not needed. The Springer is imported from Norway and has been used in
Europe for many years. It allows you to relax and enjoy the company of your
dog while you both exercise.
